Greetings,

Action Youth Mentoring Corporation was founded in 2005 to help mentor youth through active participation in action sports.  The organization began working with the City of Palm Bay on building the counties only actions sports park during the fall of 2005.  The park will consist of a sanctioned National Bicycle League BMX track and a ROAR sanctioned off road RC car track. The park will also serve as vocational training center for youth in the community to gain job skills. Our corporation’s concept of parks “built for youth and operated by youth” is truly unique, thus making it the only facility in the nation operating in this fashion.

Action Youth Mentoring has collaborated with the National Bicycle League and The Palm Bay Rotary Club.  We have received community support from:  The City of Palm Bay, Morris Smith Engineering, William Suiter Land Surveying, Can Am ATV’S, Monster Energy Drink, Roger Parsons State Farm Insurance, Brevard Eye Center, Bobs Bicycle Shop, Sun Plumbing, KSM engineering, John Sheppard environmental and hundreds of e-mails from youth and parents in the community waiting for the park to open.

The park plans to be open in time for the 2008 summer Olympics in Beijing, China, where the world will see BMX racing make its debut as an Olympic sport.  With the Olympics driving the sport we look for BMX racing to take Brevard County by storm, give our youth a place they can call their own, and provide excellent marketing opportunities.

With permits finally in place and the groundbreaking ceremony completed, we are closer to making our dream a reality. Action Youth Mentoring is a Non - Profit tax-exempt public charity 501c-3 under the Internal Revenue Service ID#26-0135960. 

We are currently seeking sponsors who would like to be a part of this milestone facility and have their participation recognized by the thousands of attendees who will be drawn to our location as competitors, fans, and action sports enthusiasts.  The park will operate 12 months per year providing sponsors an excellent opportunity to deliver their message.
